Al Wakrah suffered a 1-3 defeat at the hands of Al Arabi in the first round of the 2025-2026 QSL Cup at the Al Shamal Stadium on Tuesday.

The Dream Team bagged their goals through Under-23 player Salem Reda (8th minute), Pablo Sarabia (41st minute), and Marwan Sherif (50th minute), while Al Wakrah's solitary goal came through substitute Redouane Berkane in the 81st minute.

With the victory, Al Arabi continued to sustain their winning momentum following their victory against Umm Salal in the third week of the Doha Bank Stars League, while Al Wakrah, who have also been in fine form in the league, will be looking forward to bouncing back after this disappointing loss.
