Al Arabi's Grand Hamad Stadium will host the match between Al Markhiya and Muaither in the first round of the 2025-26 QSL Cup at 8:30 PM on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Both teams have high ambitions in the Second Division and are aiming to return to the Doha Bank Stars League in the 2026-2027 season.

Al Markhiya started the Second Division season with a sluggish start, losing 1-2 to Mesaimeer. However, they bounced back strongly in the second round with a resounding 3-0 victory over Al Bidda, giving them a strong boost ahead of their match against Muaither.

Muaither, on the other hand, are off to a good start, having drawn 3-3 with Al Khor in the first round and beating Al Waab 1-0 in the second round.

This match will be a real test for both teams to gauge their readiness to deliver a strong season.
