Al Ahli will face Al Duhail in the first round of the 2025-26 QSL Cup at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium, Al Ahli Club, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. The kickoff is at 8:30 PM.

The tournament, with its new format provides an opportunity for each team to reach the final rounds and compete for the cup. It also provides players with the opportunity to prepare for what promises to be a challenging season for all teams.

Al Duhail, led by coach Djamel Belmadi, will be keen to field several key players, both foreign and local professionals, who are ready to play.

Al Ahli, led by coach Igor Biscan, will do their best during the match in an attempt to secure victory and secure their first three points.

Both teams are coming off losses in the third week of the Doha Bank Stars League: Al Duhail 0-1 to Al Rayyan, and Al Ahli 0-2 to Qatar SC.
