Muaither defeated Al Kharaitiyat 2-0 in a Play-Off match of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Al Khor Stadium on Monday.

Muaither enjoyed an impressive second half, with goals coming through Siriky Diabate (56th minute) and Etyan Morales (76th minute) as they comfortably booked their place in the quarterfinals.

Muaither finished third in the league phase with 20 points and were close to direct qualification for the last eight, while Al Kharaitiyat qualified in 14th place, the last qualifying position for the knockout stage, after accumulating 13 points from four wins, one draw and five losses.
