17:30 kick-off at Al Arabi Stadium

Al Shamal face Al Arabi in Week 6 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 17:30 at the Al Arabi Stadium on Saturday, 16th October, 2021.

Al Shamal, who returned to the First Division after six seasons, are ninth in the standings with four points (one victory, one draw and three defeats).

Hisham Jadrane-coached side has a goal difference of -7 (seven goals for and 14 against).

Meanwhile, Al Shamal are placed third in Group A of the 2021-2022 Ooredoo Cup with four points. They lost 0-1 to Umm Salal in Round 3 last weekend.

Al Arabi are fourth in the standings (three wins and two defeats) with nine points, the same as Al Gharafa but placed behind on goal difference (-1 (five goals for and six against).

Younes Ali-coached Al Arabi are second in Group B of the 2021-2022 Ooredoo Cup with three points. They played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Al Gharafa in Round 3 last weekend.

Al Shamal have players, such as Jordanian Bahaa Faisal, Iraqi Amjad Atwan, Mohsen Al Yazidi, Nasser Al Nasr, Saoud Nasser and Ali Awad, while the Al Arabi ranks include Tunisian forward Yousef Msakni, Gabonese striker Aaron Boupendza, Icelandic Aron Gunnarsson, Ahmed Fathi and Abdullah Marafi.

Al Arabi had recently replaced their injured Iranian player Mehrdad Mohammadi with his compatriot Farshid Ismaili.

Al Arabi are second in Group B of the 2021-2022 Ooredoo Cup with three points. They played out a 3-3 draw with Al Gharafa in Round 3 last weekend.
