Al Wakrah coach Vicente Moreno spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 11 match against Al Sailiya.

“We worked for two weeks during the break and I am sure we have prepared well for the match. We know we are facing a strong team, especially one with attacking players.

“We will certainly have several players missing for this match. We have some injured players and others who are representing their national teams. Therefore, I think it will be difficult, but the most important thing for us is to focus on the game,” said Moreno.

Al Wakrah player Raul de Tomas said, “Al Wakrah’s upcoming league match against Al Sailiya is crucial for them to maintain their hopes of returning to the top four.

“I think this week has been good. We have been training intensively. We understand the importance of this match in order to maintain our position at the top of the table.”
