Al Arabi coach Cosmin Contra spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 3 match against Al Sailiya.

“The upcoming match against Al Sailiya is very tough. The fact that the opponent stumbled at the beginning of the season does not mean the match will be easy, but rather increases the danger, especially since they possess excellent attacking players.

“Our team’s tactical system is improving with each match and I have complete confidence in the ability of all players to translate the tactical ideas to the field and return with all three points to strengthen the team’s position in the standings,” said Cosmin Contra.

Al Arabi player Marwan Sherif said, “The match against Al Sailiya will not be easy at all and will require a great deal of effort. All players have strong desire to make this match the true turning point for the team this season.”
