Umm Salal coach Damir Canadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Jetour League Week 6 match against Etihad Al Gharafa.

“Our team is aiming for a victory and the full three points. This match is extremely important for us. Over the past few days, we have worked on correcting the mistakes we made in our previous match against Al Bidda, a difficult game in which the players put in a great effort.

“We tried to win, but we were unable to capitalize on our scoring opportunities,” said Damir Canadi.

Umm Salal player Khalifa Saad said, “We are preparing for this match just as we do for any other. We have studied our opponents thoroughly to identify their strengths and weaknesses.

“Our goal is to win and improve our position in standings. We are entering this match with the sole objective of securing a victory and we intend to play with intensity, despite the challenges the match may present.”
