Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 12 match against Al Sailiya.

“The first half of the season was fantastic for us, but we need to keep working hard to maintain our position at the top of league. Currently, we are in the top four of the league and leading the QSL Cup and Gulf Club Champions Cup. In the second leg, we must maintain the same desire and enthusiasm to achieve more and reach our goals for this season.

“We have several new players who have joined the team this season. We need to maintain the Al Rayyan mentality. Al Rayyan are the biggest club in Qatar and we must approach every match with the aim of winning. Our objective in the upcoming match is to secure three points. We must also avoid the mistakes we made in the first half. We have a different opponent and we must play with the same mindset and achieve victory to start the second half of the season with a crucial win,” said Artur Jorge.

Al Rayyan player Faisal Al Nouman said, “We are ready for the match and fully prepared, thanks to our daily training sessions. Our goal is to secure the three points.

“The atmosphere within the team is fantastic, especially among the players, and the enthusiasm is high. I hope that the fans would attend the match against Al Sailiya, given their significant role.”
