Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 19 match against Al Duhail.

“We are expecting a tough match against a strong team with top-level players and tremendous potential, led by competent coaching staff. They are also coming off a resounding 4-0 victory against Al Sailiya in the last round.

“We are aware of Al Duhail’s strength, the experience of their players and their capabilities, but we are ready for the match. Our goal is to win and secure the three points to continue our impressive run this season and maintain our position at the top of league table.”

Al Shamal player Pau Prim said, “Al Duhail are a great team and facing them will certainly be difficult given both teams’ desire to win and secure the three points.
