Al Waab were held to a 1-1 draw by Qatar U-23 National Team in their third-round Jetour League clash at the Khalifa International Stadium on Sunday.

Diogo Felip Abreu put Al Waab ahead from the penalty spot in the 57th minute, but Bassam Adel Eid struck a superb free-kick 20 minutes later to earn Qatar U-23 a share of the points.
Al Waab were reduced to 10 men early in the match when Pedro Sedillo was sent off in the 12th minute. Despite the numerical disadvantage, neither side could break the deadlock before the interval.
Qatar U-23 also went down to 10 men in the 56th minute after Aatif Al Amin was dismissed.
Diogo made no mistake from the resulting penalty, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to give Al Waab the lead.
However, Qatar U-23 fought back in the 77th minute, with Bassan restoring parity through a well-taken free-kick that goalkeeper Francesco Plaia had no chance of stopping.
The draw moved Al Waab to seven points, while Qatar U-23 reached two points.
