Umm Salal will begin their 2026-2027 season Jetour League campaign against the Qatar Under-23 National Team at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The kick-off is at 5.15pm.

Umm Salal enter the match looking for a strong start after an intensive pre-season which included an overseas training camp in the Netherlands under the guidance of Austrian coach Damir Canadi. During the camp, he focused on physical, technical and tactical aspects to ensure that the players are in peak condition.

Umm Salal have also strengthened their squad with several new players including Ivorian Kouassi Bryan, Moroccan Aiman Maurer, Ibrahim Nasser and defender Babacar Ndiaye.

In contrast, the Qatar Under-23 national team enter the match aiming to achieve a positive start to the competition and to benefit from the strong contests in the Jetour League for the upcoming season.
