Al Waab and Al Rayyan NextGen will face off in the concluding game of 2026-2027 season Jetour League Week 1 at the Al Bayt Stadium on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The kick-off is at 7.30pm.

The match is of great importance to both teams as they seek to begin their campaigns with a win and to secure the first three points and build confidence before the competition continues in subsequent rounds.

Al Waab aim to make a strong start and impose their style of play to achieve the desired result.

Meanwhile, Al Rayyan NextGen will go the match with similar ambition: to make a successful start and demonstrate competitive abilities.

Al Waab held their pre-season training camp in Sakarya, Turkey, during which they played several friendly matches, most notably against Kuwait’s Kazma, which ended in a 2-2 draw, and against Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli ‘B team, which ended in a 1-1 draw. They also secured a 1-0 victory against Belgian club FC Eendracht Houthalen.

Both Al Waab and Al Rayyan NextGen are hoping for a positive start that would give them a significant initial boost to their campaigns.
