Mesaimeer will face Muaither at 5.15pm on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Al Thumama Stadium in Week 1 of 2026-2027 season Jetour League.

Both teams are looking to start their campaigns in the best possible way.

Mesaimeer prepared for the new season with an overseas training camp in Romania under Spanish coach of Moroccan origin, Tarik Makhnass, who took over the team during the summer transfer window. 

His programme focused on improving the players’ physical and technical readiness and enhancing team cohesion. Mesaimeer also secured a 3-2 victory against Romanian side Modulo in one of their friendly matches.

For their part, Muaither underwent an external preparation period in the Turkish city of Yalova under Spanish coach Carlos Gonzalez, and their experiences included facing Mouloudia Oran and ES Setif, in addition to working on strengthening the ranks with a number of new players, including Argentinian Lautaro Nahuel Bustos and Moroccan Abdullah Rihani.
