Al Bidda fought back to hold Al Gharafa 1-1 in their opening match of the inaugural 2026-2027 season Jetour League at the Lusail Stadium on Sunday.

Al Gharafa had moved into the lead in the 19th minute when their Under-20 player Rayyan Hani picked on a long ball from Mostafa Esam inside the box and nicely controlled it before firing into the far corner of the net.

Al Bidda came back strongly in the second half and equalized in the 65th minute when Massil Adjaoudi headed in a superb back flip assist from Danylo Udod following a corner kick action.

Al Gharafa tried hard towards the end to snatch back the lead, but Al Bidda held on well as the match ended in an exciting draw.
