Al Sadd assistant coach Sergio Allegri spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 18 match against Umm Salal.

“It will certainly be a difficult match, but we are confident it will be very tough, and we have to give 100 per cent to win the three points.

“We have to continue playing this way and at this level; it is the right path. Our goal is to keep winning and extend our lead at the top of Doha Bank Stars League,” said Sergio Allegri.

Al Sadd star Akram Afif said, “The match is very important for us and getting three points means a lot. From now on, every remaining match in the league is crucial; we must win every single one of them. We are ready to face Umm Salal and our focus is on securing the three points to maintain our lead and retain the title.”
