Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 17 postponed match against Qatar SC.
“We are expecting a tough match against a very good team with top-level players who have delivered outstanding performances throughout the season. Therefore, we have great respect for our opponents and hope to achieve our objective.
“We will play with one goal in mind: to win and secure the three points to maintain our chances in the competition.
“We are looking to make up for the loss we suffered in our last match against Al Shahania. We have worked over the past few days to correct any mistakes in order to avoid them in the upcoming match.
“Al Shamal have had an exceptional season and aim to finish the championship in the best possible way,” said Prats.
Al Shamal player Mohammed Waad said, “We realize that the match will be difficult given the strength of our opponents, but at the same time, we will play with only one goal in mind: to win and secure the three points. I hope that the team would be at its best and achieve the desired goal in order to please our fans and fulfil the ambitions of club management.”
