Al Duhail defeated Al Shamal 3-1 in Week 19 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club on Tuesday.

Edmilson Junior (51st minute), Adil Boulbina (90th minute) and Krzysztof Piatek (90+6 minute) scored for Al Duhail, who advanced to 27 points, after Baghdad Bounedjah had opened the scoring for Al Shamal in the 40th minute.

Bounedjah took advantage of the rebound from an Omid Ebrahimi’s right-footed shot, which was parried onto his path by Salah Zakaria, to put Al Shamal, who remained on 34 points, ahead in the 40th minute.

Al Duhail’s second-half pressure got rewarded six minutes into the half, with Edmilson finding the back of the net with a right-footed shot from the right side of the box to the top left corner from a precise pass by Piatek.

The Red Knights then snatched the winner at the stroke of regulation time through Boulbina, who superbly finished off a fast break after being perfectly set up by goalkeeper Zakaria, before Piatek put the icing on the cake six minutes later.
