Al Arabi and Al Wakrah played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Week 1 of the 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Thumama Stadium on Friday.

Al Arabi’s new signings Spanish midfielder Pablo Sarabia and Kenyan striker Michael Olunga, a former Al Duhail player, both proved their worth for The Dream Team with a goal each.

Al Wakrah’s Amine Zouhzouh and Redouane Berkane, who replaced him in the 46th minute, scored for Al Wakrah.

Al Arabi’s Michael Olunga was named the player of the match for his outstanding efforts.
