The Qatar Stars League (QSL) announced the third edition of Electronic Qatar Stars League (E-QSL), which will be held from April 20 to 22, 2026. The tournament aims to keep supporting Qatari clubs and national team, keeping pace with the sport’s rapid development, expand community participation, and nurture and develop talents.

Competing teams

The tournament will feature 12 teams, all of which are clubs from 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League – Al Ahli, Al Arabi, Al Wakrah, Qatar SC, Al Rayyan, Al Sadd, Al Gharafa, Umm Salal, Al Shamal, Al Sailiya, Al Shahania and Al Duhail.

Tournament format

- Competing teams will be divided into two groups by draw of lots, with each group having six teams.

- Game format (one x one).

- Top four teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals and final.

Participation in World Cup qualifiers

The tournament will be held electronically through the popular game FC 26, developed by EA Sports. Participating teams and players will compete for the title and a place in the qualifiers for 2026 Esports World Cup.

Co-ordination meeting

As part of the tournament preparations, a co-ordination meeting was held with representatives from competing clubs to discuss the regulations and organizational procedures. Several club enquiries were addressed, and upcoming steps and procedures before the tournament begins were clarified.

Tournament draw and match schedule

The draw to divide the competing teams into two groups will be held at a later date and match schedule will be announced.

It may be noted that the competitions will be broadcast live on QSL’s official YouTube account as well as Twitch, a popular platform among e-sports enthusiasts.
