Al Sadd went down 1-3 to Al Wahda of UAE in 2025-2026 season AFC Champions League Elite (West) at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

A penalty strike from Claudinho (45+3 minute) had put Al Sadd ahead before half- time. The hosts, however, hit back in the second session with successive goals from Dusan Tadic in the 55th and 66th minutes.

Al Sadd tried to stage a comeback, but a Caio Canedo drive in the 87th minute put paid to their hard efforts.

The result saw Al Wahda move to 13 points, while Al Sadd slipped to 10th spot with two points after five games.
