Al Sadd defeated Tractor FC of Iran 2-0 in 2025-2026 AFC Champions League Elite at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday.

Goals from Rafa Mujica (61st minute) and Roberto Firmino (89th minute) helped The Wolves move to the eighth position in the standings, with eight points, and helped breath life into their Round of 16 qualification as they bounced back to winning ways.

The Iranian side had already qualified for the next round and are third in the standings with 14 points.

Al Sadd took the lead after Afif nodded Pedro Miguel’s cross into the path of Mujica, who controlled beautifully before slotting past Tractor keeper Alireza Beiranvand.

Firmino guaranteed the victory for Al Sadd close to the end after Claudinho set up the fellow Brazilian at the far post for an easy finish.
