Al Gharafa lost 0-2 to Shabab Al Ahli in 2025-2026 season AFC Champions League Elite at the Rashid Stadium in Dubai on Monday.

Goals from Kauan Santos (ninth minute) and Guilherme Bala (28th minute) helped the UAE side to their third win in the tournament, extending their tally to 10 points, while Al Gharafa suffered their fourth loss and are stuck on three points.

Santos secured the opening goal in an impressive fashion as he maneuvered through three Al Gharafa defenders and executed a low shot that hit Aron Gunnarsson’s boot, subsequently passing a diving Khalifa Ababacar into the bottom right corner.

Nineteen minutes later, an unmarked Guilherme extended his team’s advantage by skillfully curving the ball from outside the penalty area, again bypassing a diving Ababacar and into the bottom right corner.
