Al Duhail and Al Shamal will face off in Week 8 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Duhail club on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The kick-off is at 5.30pm.
Al Duhail go into the clash hoping to make up for a number of recent setbacks, including a 1-3 loss to the UAE’s Al Wahda in the AFC Champions League Elite, as well as a goalless draw against defending champions Al Sadd in Week 6 of the league before the league was suspended due to the Asian World Cup qualifiers.
In contrast, Al Shamal are tied at the top of the table with Qatar SC, each with 14 points. The two teams had drawn in their match in the sixth week before the league was suspended.
The match has a special significance as Al Duhail seek to improve their position and advance into the top four, while Al Shamal aim to maintain their lead and continue their exceptional start to the Doha Bank Stars League.
