Al Duhail secured the opening goal through Kryzsztof Piatek (20th minute) before the UAE side equalised via a penalty by Omar Khribin in the 35th minute. Brahima Diarra (45+2 minute) and Ala Zouhir (67th minute) added one each to secure a vital victory for the hosts.

The outcome elevates Al Wahda to seven points from their initial three matches, while Al Duhail continue to seek their first victory, with Djamel Belmadi’s team currently on one point.
