Al Arabi secured a stunning victory over Qatar SC on penalties in a Play-Off match of 2025-2026 season QSL Cup at the Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al Wakrah club on Monday.

The match, which ended 2-2 in regulation time, saw a flurry of penalty shoot-outs before Al Arabi eventually won 12-11, with Ibrahim Masoud missing the last kick for Qatar SC, ensuring their passage into the quarterfinals.

Qatar SC were leading 2-1 with two minutes of added time before Al Arabi sensationally equalised to push the highly-entertaining encounter into penalties.

Yan Matheus (14 minute) and Joao Pedro (58th minute) scored in regulation time for Qatar SC, while Karl Toko Ekambi (57th minute penalty) and Joao Pedro Daros (90+2 minute) scored for Al Arabi.
