QSL champions Al Rayyan continued preparations for the 2016/2017 season under the watchful eye of returning head coach Jorge Fossati. The current QFA coach of the year joined up with the squad at the clubs training ground to oversee his first session of preseason.

Fossati was also joined by professional players, Koh Myong-jin and Gonzalo Viera who joined in with the training session. One noticeable absence was Spanish striker Sergio Garcia, who is set to join up with the squad in the next few days.

Al Rayyan is set to head to their training camp on the 27^th of July to the 20^th of August where they will ramp up their preparations ahead of the new QSL season.
