Al Ahli Sports Club has announced it has extended the contract of their Bahraini defender Sayed Adnan until the end of the current QSL 2016/17 season. The club also announced they have re-registered the Iranian player, Bezman Muntazari, who will replace his fellow Iranian Mujtaba Jabbari, who was de-registered due to injury.
The renewal of Sayed Adnan’s contract, who joined Al Ahli at the beginning of this season from the Bahraini Club Al Hidd, was down to his solid performances and the big impact the player had during the first half of the season, which helped the club management and technical staff, led by Youssef Adam, come to an easy decision regarding the extension of his contract.
The re-registration of the Iranian defender Muntazari comes after the player was removed from the club list at the beginning of the season due to injury. The decision was also made as the club was in need of another defender to work alongside Sayed Adnan.
The Iranian midfielder Mujataba Jabbari was deregistered due to a severe injury he picked up that may rule him out for a prolonged period of time as he needs time for recovery and treatment, which will not benefit the football team in the coming tough matches.
Al Ahli also owns both Congolese Mubele and the Ivorian Yessoh in addition to the above mentioned players.
