Al Kharaitiyat moved ahead in the 53rd minute, with Maelo Renteria scoring from a spot kick. The penalty was given after Mesaimeer goalkeeper Jehad Mohammad had run into a charging Caicedo inside the box.
Mesaimeeer pushed hard towards the end and succeeded in 90+2 minute, with Tunisian forward Ibrahim Souissi connecting a Khaled Abdelraouf lob in front of the goal.
With the points shared, Al Kharaitiyatâs tally moved up to five points and Mesaimeer to four points after three games.
