Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 5 match against Al Duhail.

“We are excited for the league to resume following the recent break and are determined to give our best as the season restarts. We face Al Duhail tomorrow – one of the league’s best and strongest teams – so we must be fully prepared. 

“I have complete confidence in our players’ ability to give their all to achieve our goal: winning the match and securing the three points,” said Prats.

Al Shamal player Nassim Benaissa said, “A tough encounter awaits us against a very strong team, but we are ready. Our objective is to win and secure the three points.

“It will not be an easy task against a major club like Al Duhail, but we will fight hard to achieve our goal of winning and continuing the team’s impressive run this season.”
