Umm Salal took on Al Sailiya today at the Suheim bin Hamad at 18:30 in the evening.Al Sailiya needed the points more than Umm Salal after a dreadful start to the season and head coach Trabelsi was praying his side could get all 3 points in this round 11 clash.
Last season Trabelsi was voted by his peers as the best coach in the league but after a summer of many transfers his team is a completely different outfit.
The game itself was an even affair and looked to be going towards a goalless draw. Both teams had decent chances but lack of composure plagued both sides.
Then in the 82nd minute Tamer Jamal Othman became the hero of the night for the Orange Fortress, as he bagged all three points for his side.
The Peregrines rallied late on but to no avail, Salal secured the win in tense game and stay in 7th spot. Al Sailiya slide down to 10th and have 11 points.
