Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 22 match against Muaither.

“We are seeking a strong appearance that will enable us to achieve the required result against Muaither at the end of the team’s league campaign next Sunday at Al Thumama Stadium.

“We respect the ambitions of the competing team, which aspires to achieve three points in order to escape relegation, and all the players are determined to make a strong appearance and a distinguished conclusion for the team in the league journey this season.

“There are some injuries in the team and we hope they will return as soon as possible.

“I am sad about the team’s loss in the last two rounds and the loss of points in these matches. The players lacked the desire and ferocity in attack after winning the Qatar-UAE Super Cup. I spoke to them and asked them to double their efforts during the coming period and restore their great desire for the Amir Cup,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Ibrahim Al Saeed said, “Muaither have nothing to lose, especially since the team needs to avoid last place and avoid relegation at the end of the league, and they will fight until the last minute in order to achieve victory.

“The negative result in the previous match doubles the responsibility of the players in the next match for a good ending and strong preparation for the Amir Cup. Everyone is keen to make every effort to serve the team.
