Qatar SC coach Abdullah Mubarak spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Duhail.

“Al Duhail are champion stuff. There’s no doubt about it. There’s a huge difference in both teams’ standings. They are the leaders and we are only 11th. We will definitely look for a victory. But I promise that even if we lose, that will not be by a big margin.

“After the first phase ended, we gave absolute rest to our players for a week before starting our preparations for the remaining half of the season. We are giving tough fight in all games of late and we are ready to face Al Duhail. We played really well in the last four league matches. I still need more determination and commitment from our players.

“Even small details can influence the result of a game, so I am preparing the players for different situations. It is important that you take advantage of your strong points. We too have some key players who can make a difference.

“We have not made any changes on the players’ front in the current transfer window, but we may go in for some new players,” said Abdullah.
