Al Khor travelled south to take on Umm Salal at the Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday Dec 9<sup>th</sup>.<br />

Umm Salal was looking to move above Al Ahli who had lost to Al Shahania but Al Khor put up a stern defense.<br />
<br />
The visitors Al Khor started the game on the right footing when they went ahead early on.  Striker William Souza scored in the 11<sup>th</sup> minute, which was then followed by Reda Shanba who scored on the 17<sup>th</sup> minute to give the Knights a two goal cushion.<br />
<br />
After the break Umm Salal looked hungrier but it took until the 76<sup>th</sup> minute to break down a dogged Khor defense.<br />
<br />
Umm Salal scored through Abdulqadir Ilyas Bakr’s penalty spot conversion (76’) to make it 2-1. However Al Khor then responded with a goal just 7 minutes later through Julio Cesar to restore their two goal cushion (3-1).<br />

Then new Umm Salal signing Tuncay Sanli got his team’s second in the 87<sup>th</sup> minute to leave the Al Khor fans anxious for the final whistle.<br />
<br />
But there was to be late drama at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium when Jeremie Aliadière  secured a vital point for his side in extra time (95’).<br />
<br />
The result leaves Umm Salal in 7<sup>th</sup> and Al Khor in 10<sup>th</sup> place in the Qatar Stars League.
