Al Ahli coach George Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Al Arabi.

“The 0-4 loss to Al Duhail exposed many weaknesses in our side. We are trying hard to rectify them. We must change our game. It was very difficult for us against such a strong side as Al Duhail. I was not at all happy with our performance.

“Perhaps, this game will be a new beginning for us. We will see how best we can improve our game. I am confident that we can improve our style of playing.

“We are comfortably placed at the seventh position, but it is not enough. Right now, I am not happy with our overall performance. We could have fared far better and collected more points. We need more points to go up the standings.

“Against Al Arabi, we will miss the services of centre-back Khaleel Sherif and influential midfielder Yassine Chikhaoui,” said Jorge.
