
The 21 year old shot stopper has been ever present for Al Gharafa in goal this term, playing a total of 26 times for the Cheetahs. With the young Qatari keeper registering 2,496 minutes in goal over the course of the campaign, which saw Al Gharafa finish in a creditable fifth place in the league.
The Qatar U23 international has been called up by the Qatari national team on a number of occasions this season; however Hassan has yet to make an appearance as a full international. This season Yousef has an impressive 67.7% save success average, which are impressive for a goalkeeper of such a young age.
Whilst in terms of distribution Yousef has excelled, bettering many goalkeepers in the QSL several years older than the 21 year old shot stopper. On average Hassan distributes the ball on 26 occasions with 75% of these distributions finding their intended target. This certainly underlines how important Hassan’s distribution is in starting attacks for his side.
