<p>The award for the Best Referees was first instituted in the 2016-17 season in recognition of their efforts and outstanding officiating.</p><p>The trio of Abdulrahman Al Jassim, Taleb Salem Al Marri and Saud Ahmed were adjudged the Best Referees this time.</p><p>It may be noted that FIFA Referee Al Jassim and FIFA Assistant Referee Al Marri had officiated in the 2018 Russia World Cup.</p>
