Qatar SC vs Al Wakrah
Umm Salal vs Al Kharaitiyat

Can Qatar Sports Club continue playing brave football and stop the bleeding? Well, the answer will come on Sunday when they host Al Wakrah in round 13 of the Qatar Stars League (QSL).

After a demoralizing horrible run in the first 10 matches - a phase in which they got thrashed 9-0 and 5-0 in two matches - Qatar SC have initiated a bit of a revival by beating El Jaish 1-0 in round 11 and holding off former champions Al Gharafa last week.

Coach Sebastiao Lazaroni must get his boys to challenge Al Wakrah who beat Al Kharaitiyat 1-0 in their last clash in round 12.

13th-placed Qatar SC have 8 points and they are just a notch above bottom-placed Mesaimeer. The next few games are key for Qatar SC who must ward of relegation fears

The game on Sunday kicks off at 16:00.

In the day's other game at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium, Umm Salal take on Al Kharaitiyat. Umm Salal will be all keyed up for the round 13 clash knowing they are coming off an impressive 3-2 win over El Jaish last week.

Sixth-placed Umm Salal posted a win last week after three consecutive draws and coach Bülent Uygun will be seeking his team's sixth win of the season.

Al Kharaitiyat will be playing to nail their 4th win of the season. Al Kharaitiyat have won just one match in their last five QSL clashes.
11th-placed Al Kharaitiyat have 11 points from 12 matches.

The game starts at 18:30.

Al Sailiyah vs Al Arabi
Al Khor vs Al Gharafa

Al Sailiyah will take on Gianfranco Zola's Al Arabi on Sunday, knowing a fourth consecutive win is very much possible when the two sides clash at Al Ahli Stadium.

Coached by Sami Trabelsi, seventh-placed Al Sailiya have notched three consecutive wins over that includes a victory against Doha giants Al Sadd a couple of weeks ago.

Coming off a 2-0 win over Al Khor, Al Sailiya, however, cannot take Zola's side lightly as Al Arabi are a different side under the shrewd Italian coach.

Al Arabi, placed fourth, have 23 points and Zola's side is only behind Al Rayyan, Al Sadd and El Jaish on the points table.

The game starts at 16:00.

In the day's other game at Al Ahli Stadium, Al Khor face Al Gharafa who dropped points against Qatar SC last week.

Al Khor, placed 12th, have been edgy this season, managing only two wins in 12 games.

Al Gharafa, the former champions, must accumulate points if they want to climb up from spot eight in the QSL standings.

Al Gharafa have managed only 15 points in 12 matches and their realistic target would be to finish the season in the top four.

The game starts at 18:30.
