The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. It was attended by His Excellency Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, President of QSL, CEO, members of the Executive Committee, chairmen and representatives of club companies who are members of the General Assembly, and Executive Directors of QSL.

Welcoming all attendees, Al Buenain said, “We thank the chairmen and representatives of clubs for attending the Ordinary General Assembly meeting.

“I can’t miss thanking all clubs for their continued co-operation in implementing all development plans for our competitions and tournaments, especially the league championship, which benefit Qatar football and our national teams. We’re always pleased with the high competitiveness of all clubs, enabling them to represent us in a distinguished manner in external competitions and tournaments, including AFC Champions League. We work together to present our clubs in the best possible way and ensure the continuity of development process.

“I wish everyone the best of luck and success in the new (2025-2026) season. I wish all clubs success in the coming period and in their overseas participation.”

Mr. Hani also reviewed the agenda. The Ordinary General Assembly was approved in accordance with QSL’s statutes, the agenda was approved and members were appointed to record and review the proceedings of meeting.

The minutes of the previous General Assembly meeting, held on June 10, 2024, were also approved, along with the annual report on QSL’s activities. The audited financial statements for the past year were presented and approved along with the independent auditor’s report.

A number of questions and comments were also clarified during the meeting.
