Qatar SC coach Helio Sousa spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League match against Al Rayyan, postponed from Week 13.

“We know that we are facing a very strong match against Al Rayyan. The matches of the two teams are always characterized by strength and excitement, and we hope that the match will turn out to be enjoyable for the fans.

“We have prepared in the appropriate manner and are seeking to continue victories after we succeeded in achieving a 2-1 victory during our last match against Al Shamal. We are looking forward to achieving victory in our next match so that we can continue to move forward in the league table.

“Qatar SC will treat the remaining three matches in the league championship as if they were final matches in order to achieve victory and obtain the largest possible number of points before the end of the tournament. I have confidence in the capabilities of the Qatar SC team members and their great desire to provide the best possible level during the remaining matches,” said Souza.

Qatar SC player Issa Ahmed said, “The next match against Al Rayyan in the league requires full focus in order to deliver the expected performance through which the team will maintain the chances of achieving victory. We are looking forward to achieving three points in all of our remaining matches in the league championship, and we hope that we will be successful in that so that we can finish the tournament in the best possible position.

“Our match against Al Rayyan will certainly be difficult because they are a big team with distinguished players, but we also have players at the highest level, and we succeeded in achieving victory during our last match against Al Shamal, and we hope to continue that in the upcoming matches, including our match against Al Rayyan. We hope to give off our best and get the three points.”
