Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 19 match against Al Gharafa.

“The team members worked well during this week and were keen to continue preparations in order to achieve victory and obtain the three points. I call on the players to provide their best performance to obtain the desired result.

“Al Gharafa are a strong team that is performing at outstanding levels this season and competing strongly. We will play on Al Gharafa’s strengths and weaknesses and be able to stop them, and will fight to achieve victory and get the desired result.

“I would like to express my sincere thanks to the fans for their support for us even though we realize that it is difficult when we do not achieve the results expected of us, and I fully understand their frustration with some of the results, but we promise them to provide our best to make them happy, and we are confident in our ability to achieve that,” said Younes.

Al Arabi player Yousef Msakni said, “The match will not be easy for both teams. Preparations are going on as required for the Al Gharafa match, especially since the competitor is performing well, so we must focus until the last minute of the match in order to win.

“Our morale is high and we must maintain this level of enthusiasm. We performed well in the previous matches and did our best, but we were not successful in some matches. However, as players, we still support and encourage each other in the dressing room. We all have the enthusiasm required to achieve positive results and we must continue to show the spirit of victory in all matches.”
