As part of preparations for the final of 2023-2024 season Ooredoo Cup, between Umm Salal and Al Arabi on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 7pm at the Grand Hamad Stadium of Al Arabi club, the Qatar Stars League (QSL) held Technical Meeting for the match at its Headquarters in Al Bidda Tower on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of Competitions Department at QSL, Mr. Abdullah Al Balooshi, representative of Referees Department of Qatar Football Association, and representatives of both teams.

 

Mr. Al Adsani welcomed all attendees and congratulated the two teams on making it to the final.

At the meeting, a number of topics were discussed, the most prominent of which were:

- Organizational procedures for the coronation of champions and awarding of runners-up.

- Importance of attending the stadium at the specified time.

- Approval of official kits of each team (main and reserve).

- It has been confirmed that, as per the tournament rule, if the regular time of the match ends in a tie, penalty kicks will be enforced directly.
