Umm Salal will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face Al Sadd on Sunday the 3rd of January at Al Ahli stadium, in the QSL match of the week. Both teams have had mixed fourtunes in recent weeks and will be looking to gain ground on eachother in the race for a top four place. 

The orange fortress endured a frustrating 0-0 draw at the hands of Al Khor last time out, along with a shock 3-0 defeat to Al Kharaitiyat in round 13. The results leave Bulent Uygun’s side in sixth place, five points away off the top four places.

Al Sadd will be going into the match in high spirits following a comprehensive 5-1 victory over basement boys Meisameer. However their 4-2 defeat at the hands of El Jaish in round 13, did dent the Wolves chances of lifting the falcon shield for this season.

Sadd will be without star midfielder Xavi who has not trained with the squad for the match. However the Wolves will be looking to top scorer Muriqui to be amonst the goals. The Brazilian striker has been on fine form this season, and has already grabbed 11 goals this season.
