Lekhwiya midfielder Karim Boudiaf has suffered an injury to his the heel, more specifically to ligaments in his lower leg, the incident happened during the team’s preseason training in Turkey.
 
According to medical staff, the injury will cause the midfielder to be on the sidelines for at least the next two weeks.
 
Boudiaf couldn't continue playing during the friendly game against Turkish side Besiktas, playing just 15 minutes.
 
Lekhwiya is already missing two players due to injury, they are Chico Flores and Vladimir Weiss.
 
There are also doubts regarding to the participation of central defender Chico Flores in the up-coming AFC Champions League fixture against Al Hilal on the 25th of August in Riyadh, KSA.
