Al Arabi midfielder  Ali Jassemi  is aware of the threat that Al Sadd pose ahead of his sides clash between both Al Sadd and Al Arabi.

In a exclusive interview with QSL online Jassemi said on the upcoming match “Our aim is to win the game versus Al Sadd in order to satisfy our fans, who have supported us so well, especially following the loss to Al Rayyan in Round 6 derby.”

The player stressed that Arabi are not only looking to  to win the coming game against rivals Al Sadd  but to continue  the good form that has lead his side to fourth place in the league s “The Qatar Stars League this season is different  this year, with several teams fighting for a top 4 finish.”

Al Jassemi, has been on fine form this season also noted that Al Arabi are targeting silverware this season. “We will fight on all fronts for a trophy and hope to at least win one this season that is our minimum expectations as a squad.”

Talking about the season ahead the player anticipated plenty of shocks during the season. “This season will be unpredictable; any team can cause an upset in this league. Arabi will have to continue our good form and that starts in the next derby against Al Sadd.”

Finally Jassemi spoke directly to the fans saying “We still have a lot to improve on this season, but I can assure our loyal and dedicated fans and we will fight to win each and every game to for you and a trophy that Al Arabi deserve.”
