The Qatar Stars League (QSL) and its Japanese counterpart, the J. League continued to develop their ongoing relationship this week, as the J. League delegation visited the QSL’s headquarters at Al Bidda tower yesterday.
 
The delegation was made up of two representatives who after leaving the QSL’s headquarters went to watch the AFC Champions League match between local team - Al Sadd and Uzbek side Lokomotiv, which end with an emphatic win for the home side (6-2).
 
Managing Director Mr. Daisuke Nakanishi, J.League and Mr. Takeyuki Oya, Asia Office, J.League arrived on the 16^th of March to Doha;  During their short trip the Japanese delegation also visited the world famous Aspire Academy facilities at the Aspire Zone.
 
The main aim of the trip to Qatar was so that the Japanese delegation could pay a return visit as well as discuss areas where the J.League and QSL cooperation could be increased.
 
An Agreement was also reached to draft a memorandum of understanding between the two football leagues.
