El Jaish Sports Club drew with the Italian side Hellas Verona in a preseason friendly 2-2 in Austria. Abdel Qader Elias and Abdel Rahman Waleed scored for El Jaish in the 64th & 86th minute respectively. Luca Toni scored both goals for Hellas Verona in the 44th and 63rd minutes.
El Jaish French head coach Sabri Lamouchi fielded most of the players available to him in order to identify their current level of technical and physical ability.
This was the second friendly for the Soldiers who had also played Austrian side LASK Linz beating them by five goals to nil.
