Umm Salal Sports Club Management has decided to keep Turkish Head Coach Bulent for the up-coming football season.

Umm Salal Club quashed any speculation regarding the Turk’s future after their final match this season. Both parties agreed on the renewal of the contract so that Bulent can continue to lead the football team for the third consecutive season.

After the official announcement of the contract renewal, the Turkish Head Coach will set the team’s preparation plan for the new season by the beginning of July. Umm Salal will have their training camp in Germany, during which the team will play several friendly games, and will look to bolster the squad with some foreign signings.

Umm Salal signed with Bulent back in the 2013 midseason and saw the Oranges achieve positive results especially in the second part of the season.

Umm Salal came sixth the league table this season, but didn’t participate in Qatar Cup and were knocked-out of the Emir Cup in the quarterfinal stage.
