Al Ahli Jeddah has travelled to Doha in order to have a series of friendlies as they too have a break due to the 2014 Gulf Cup of Nations. The Saudi outfit will play Al Wakrah on the 18^th of November and new Waves head coach Nourdine bin Zakri will use this time to stamp his mark on his new team.<br />

The Algerian Zakri was drafted in after the departure of Tunisian head coach Maher Kenzari and has so far overseen two defeats in the Qatar Stars League.<br />

This match will give Zakri valuable time to try some new tactics and perhaps get the Blues Waves playing better than before.<br />

Al Wakrah currently lies in 12^th place in the QSL rankings with just 7 points.
