This is a rescheduled match from round 2 of the QSL that was delayed due to issues at the original venue at Al Sadd stadium. The league paused for a number of weeks due to the Gulf Cup competition to be played in Saudi Arabia.
Therefore this is the last Qatar Stars League match to be played until Saturday November 29th when round 11 will commence.
Shahania is two places below Al Sailiya in 13th place with just 5 points and need the win more to move away from the relegation zone. However that may prove difficult after the 4-0 drubbing they received at the hands of El Jaish last week, and which has surely dented their confidence.
The Peregrines are in 11th place with 8 points and have a more positive mindset going into the game after beating Al Wakrah 4-3 but they will be without their star keeper Gregory Gomis.
